A Flt 22 Squadron awarded The RAF Community Plate
At the Annual Town Meeting on Monday 27 April 2015, the RAF Community Plate was presented to A Flt, 22 Squadron Search and Rescue Team by the Mayor of Barnstaple, Cllr Mrs Val Elkins.
The Search and Rescue Team at RMB Chivenor are recognised for being fantastic ambassadors for the local area over the years that they have served the community, and for their dedication both to the people of North Devon and visitors alike.
The RAF Community Plate was presented to Barnstaple Town Council by RAF Chivenor in 1974, to be awarded annually to an individual or group deemed by the Council to have made a contribution to the wellbeing of the community of Barnstaple. In making his award, the Town Council is recording its appreciation to A Flight 22 Squadron Search and Rescue Team. Photo by @tidyeyepr
